How can I use the data to grow my business?
In short, most customers use the data for call and text campaigns, email marketing, and social media with great results.
Using email addresses, you can generate very efficient and low-cost email campaigns. On average, email campaigns using TDS data have less than a 7% bounce rate.
When plugging the email addresses into Facebook, you can generate “lookalike” audiences so your ads will reach the most relevant users and therefore, increase your conversions and ROI.
How often is your database updated?
Our database collects information from 20+ data sets. Most data fields update nightly, while some are made available weekly. This ensures that our customers always have the most up-to-date information as it comes in and are never left in the dark.
Will I be notified if one of my carriers is out of compliance?
Short answer: Absolutely.
Long answer: You can set your preferences to email you every morning if one of your monitored carriers drops to a red or yellow level. Green carriers are left off of the report. You don’t need to worry about them and you definitely don’t need them cluttering your inbox.
Does this platform work with my TMS?
Yes. Our easy-to-use API works easily with most TMS providers. This allows you to receive up-to-date notifications on all of your fleets in your TMS.
What scores do you monitor?
TDS has reverse-engineered CSA and ISS score algorithms to produce the “TDS BASICs”. Our algorithms are an average of within 0.8% of federal scores, giving you the closest match possible.
Can I sort lanes by trailer type?
Yes! Not only can you sort by basic trailer types, but you can get more detailed to see specific types of trailers: curtain side, covered wagon, stretch, and many more.
I only sell a specific type of equipment. Can this help me?
Yes! With over 200 customizable fields, you can narrow down your audience by tons of filters. Sort by make, model, engine type, trailer type, commodities carried, and much more.

How do I export a search?
To perform the free export, simply find the “export” button at the bottom left of the page. This will immediately compile all the information into a .csv file and will download right onto your computer. From there, you can use any spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) to view the results.
The more advanced export is a premium feature and is demonstrated by a dedicated account manager.
When I export, I'm only seeing MC#, DOT#, and Company Name.
We get this one a lot. The reason that you’re only seeing those few items is because those are the default fields. Changing this is rather easy. Follow these steps and you’ll be ready to go!
1- Log in to your TDS dashboard
2- Hover over your email address in the upper right-hand corner
3- Click on “My Preferences”
4- Check any boxes that you would like to add to your report
5- Run your report again and you’ll see the options you’ve selected
6- Celebrate! It’s that easy!
How do I find a carrier's TDS scores?
To find a carrier’s TDS BASICs and ISS scores, first click on the DOT# of the carrier. This will bring you to their profile page. Scroll down past their equipment information and you’ll see the section titled “TDS BASICs”. Here, you’ll find all the info you’ll ever need.
